A youth corp member who swore to serve “under the sun or in the rain” indeed served his PPA to the best of his ability and at the end , the community have something to show for it – a pregnant little girl.
While the action of the youth corps member remains condemnable, shameful and inexcusable, however, we find it totally objectionable asking a youth corps member to kneel in the presence of students. That is unacceptable.
He should have been dealt with in accordance with the extant rules of NYSC instead of him being paraded as if he were a primary one pupil.

What’s the difference between him and a primary pupil? If there’s any, it is that he should be flogged naked outside. What he did is a criminal offence worse that stealing and he should be dealth with in everyway that the village will deal witha common criminal. As we have national laws, so we have state and local laws and in the village, a common criminal is paraded and beaten naked in the market place. Yeye with nysc law.

This is indeed disgraceful, corp members are supposed to be examplary wherever they are cos they represent NIGERIA. He did not find an adult in his place of primary assignment but a little girl. He should be punished severly cos is a taboo, the girl also, was she rapped? as small as she is, she allowed herself to be wasted. Parents need to teach their children morals, at age 13 dat girl is way tooooooo young for sex. Mothers should develop very close relationship with their girl child to protect them from immoral men.
